Out of all the pieces in the game which one do you think is the best costed piece in conjunction with it's abilities. Lets only use Rare and VR to keep it from being the Ugnaught.

Your title says "Most evenly" while your post says "best priced", Two very different things in my opinion, as one suggests balance, and the other aggressive costing.

This is a completely subjective question. Really, you are asking what we think the baseline should be for costing. I'm going to go with Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler. He's a popular piece and can be used in multiple factions, and his cost is a mid-level cost, so that makes him a decent comparison piece in multiple factions and for pieces +/- 10 points in either direction.

My definition of this is a piece that's good enough for competitive play, but isn't so strong that it gets included in every squad for that faction. I went through the top ranked rs/vrs 10-20 point range and categorised them:
Undercosted: General Rieekan General Whorm Loathsom Princess Leia Exar Kun, Dark Force Spirit
About right: Qui-Gon Jinn, Force Spirit Todo 360 Marka Ragnos, Dark Force Spirit Princess Leia, Rebel Commando Darth Wyyrlok III Yammosk War Coordinator (there's been debate about this, but I think it's pretty much bang on) Admiral Gilad Pellaeon Darth Sidious Hologram Jan Ors Moff Nyna Calixte Lobot, Computer Liaison Officer Watto
Overcosted: Storm Commando (mainly the 40 hp, otherwise it's about right) Malakili, Rancor Keeper Yoda, Force Spirit T3-M4

Lando, Dashing Scoundrel was very aggressively priced at the time of his release. By today's game, he doesn't look like much, but I always liked that piece. I feel like with power growth, lando is now priced in a sort of sweet spot. I feel like you pay for exactly what you get with him. There's just too many options that are more competitively priced to let him see much play these days, but I think from a design standpoint, he's right there in the middle.

I'd agree with this - I think he's a good benchmark. Remembering that since he's Fringe, he should cost a little bit extra too.

Sorry for the confusing title. I was going for what the Hutts was giving but in a few example. nice extra credit work :)
I ask because when making customs I have the hardest time putting a cost on my pieces.

I completely agree with Lando, DS. almost an instant inclusion for me when i played back in the day. definitely goes in every squad i had with tempo control and 9 times out of 10 in my sith or imperial squads.
another one i've always really liked from back in the day was Malak DLotS. semi-decent beatstick with CE that is rangeless. great inclusion to a subpar faction.
