If a character with Embrace of Pain is effected by a deathshot CE and makes an attack, do they count as having 0 HP for the purposes of the special ability?

I would think yes. The damage is applied (bringing the character to 0 hp), which would cause the character to be removed from the map. But before the character is removed from the map, he gets a free attack...at his current hp, which are 0 at the time.

This belongs in the rules section young man. For future reference keep this in mind. The way you DO NOT want a ruling to go as far as rules questions go, that's the way it is. Every single time. No exceptions. That's just the nature of this game. Either that or Sithborg is a real piece of work. I haven't made up my mind yet. Jury is still out. I'm leaning towards Sithborg just likes to make others miserable. He seems like that kind of guy.
