I took leave of the game for about 5 months. I went so far as to not even open the box I have my miniatures in. I know it seems quite torturous which it was  but I'm back in it on a limited basis. Since I've been gone so long I was just wondering what exciting things have gone on in the past 5 months that I should know? (I love this community  )

Normally there's a lot more action in the first half of the year (Regional season, leading through to GenCon in August). The time from September through December is usually relatively quiet in the boards, but it feels like things have been heating up recently as v-set 7 is released shortly - there have been lots of previews and there was a cool Bothan Transmission with all of the set names. It's not too far until Regional season now.
In New Zealand we've seen the major HaweraCon (150 points) and the minor Hutt 100 both won by Admiral Daala swarm squads. We also have our Hutt Regional underway, where traditional squads like Solo Charge and GOWK/Mace have been doing well.

Sounds like I came back just in time for the party to begin. Checked out V-Set 7 and it looks pretty sweet  . Thanks guys.
