The one post to cover all my questions regarding the At-At...if there are additional points of interest that need to be populated please add to this inquiry. This piece has been staring at me for 7 years and not seen game...that is about to change. But I have some questions:

Limited Field of Fire: is this any square in front of the At-At even way off sideways on a map but only one square in front of the base of the At-At? or does it have to be in some 45 degree arc somehow?

Stomp: Where do I place a enemy character that made a save 6 against the At-At Stomp ability? Do I let the opponent choose to place the character somewhere on its base...or beside its legs...or where is the general place? Perhaps just beside the base? etc.

Relentless: The stat card says it moves only forward. Fine. But can it move diagonally forward? Its movement rate is 2 squares per activation...so can it move one square forward and one square sideways cumulatively since the direction is still forward...or would I stay to the strictest of interpretations and only move forward in a straight line?

If we play with embark / transport ability on the At-At: What are the movement costs for doing so and how many characters can this beast transport?

Movement: I can choose not to move on its activation right? Otherwise what happens if I reach the other side of the map and can't turn around?

Staggered Activations: The movement and fire activations can be in any order right? 4 moves / 2 Attacks (1 medium blaster attack and 1 heavy laser attack) for a total of 6 activations per round.

Gentlemen, that's all I can think of...thank you in advance for your help and assistance.
Best Regards,

Also, what is the consensus for bringing down an At-At regarding survivors? Do you populate the game board with a couple of At-At Drivers who can use a saving throw to be put on the map?

1. It is only from the front of the base. Pretty much only 180 degrees in front of it. Once a figure gets behind that first square of the base, it can't be attacked by the AT-AT.

2. You place it in a square adjacent to the AT-AT.

3. You can move forward straight or diagonally.

4. I do not believe there is a movement cost. I believe it is one Huge, 2 Large, or 8 Medium/Small figures.

5. Yes, you may give the figure actions in any order.

6. That is covered by your house rules. Any figure aboard the AT-AT when it is defeated is also supposed to be defeated.

Just had one more question regarding the attacks from the medium blaster or larger laser on the At-At.
When the card says...make 2 attacks....for either one of the medium blaster or the larger laser....do both attacks have to be against the same target...or can they be against separate targets? I'm guessing they can be against separate targets just like if it was a double attack if the character didn't move.

Yes, separate targets can be chosen.

The game is today....but one thought popped up...what happens when an At-At stomps the Golan Arms Battery that has "emplacement" and rolls its save. Then what?

I have no idea...

This is complete speculation:
Since Emplacement prevents the Turret from being moved, I would say it stays where it is, occupying part of the AT-AT's base, and continues to get stomped every time the walker moves, until it eventually fails the save or the AT-AT has moved past it.

What happens when I add an imperial officer who grants an extra attack after he moves and is within 6 squares of my At-At. Can I grant that extra immediate attack to my At-At and if so what weapons system should I be using or is that a choice? Or does the At-At not get to attack because the weapon systems are considered special abilities?

Also because the weapon systems are special abilities (Heavy Laser and Medium Blasters) ...is there a chance that the evade ability does not work against its attacks?

1. AT-AT is not subject to Commander Effects thanks to Staggered Activation.
2. You would use it's +0 Atk 0 Dam stat.

Can you please elaborate on 2. With General Riekken, do the Rebels have evade against the AT-AT's Medium and Heavy Blasters? Thanks,

They only have those Atk and Dam ratings when they are using the said attack ability. It can make AoO as normal, but they do nothing thanks to it having a 0 damage.

The attacks granted by the two abilities are still attacks, and interact just like normal attacks.
