I'd like to point out that the majority of these maps appear to be custom fan-made maps, the picture and PDF files of which can be easily obtained online for free.

You are correct - but I don't believe I said they were my custom creations. I paid about $20 a pop to get them printed, and will sell them for $5 to $8 depending on if I get any bids. I'll not expect your purchase.
