If I kill someone with lightsaber riposte, can they spend a force point to use lightsaber riposte and attack me even though they died?

As per the Resolving Effects section of the FAQ, Riposte happens before defeat.

I think so; I mean, Djem So still works if they die, I believe... And, say you hit someone with 10 HP left and they have LS Defense; even though they WOULD be dead, they can spend a FP to try to block it. I would say, why not?, but I could be wrong.
