Does 'after setup' mean after this player sets up or after all players set up? For example, if both players have Versatility, are the Versatility decisions made in setup order as they setup, or simultaneously after all players have set up?

Battle Ready says it occurs immediately before the first activation. To me, that says it's after everything, including after the initiative roll (and maybe even after "after initiative is determined" abilities like intuition).

The glossary says before the first initiative roll. I didn't notice the discrepancy. Did you confirm that the physical card matches what BlooMilk says? If so, I agree with you that the card text should take priority. Although the glossary usually overrides the card, this one appears to be accidental.

You use the most COMPLETE version. Then, if there is a direct contradiction, you go with the card.

Thanks. So since this is a contradiction we follow the card and Battle Ready occurs after the first initiative roll.
