now i've been looking into this, and i'm not stupid, it just seems like a retarted ruling, and i wanted to make sure it was legit. I understand that standing behind low objects grants cover...., but a couple of points for arguements sake
1. if you are standing behind a low object that an opposing character is on the other side of, do they still get cover form it?
2. if you are standing on low objects, do you get cover from that object?

1. No, because the attacking character ignores low objects adjacent to them when attacking. 2. Yes, because the low object will always cause an obstruction to at least one far corner of your square, unless the attacker is adjacent.
