If I am running Talon KArrde and a Kota's militia with IO, do my guys all get +4+10 still, or because I have a rebel (the Kota's Militia who also counts as fringe) would that cancel out the +4/+10 CE.

It would be the same as Alto Stratus and non unique Seps such as the Nimbus, which have been ruled that they do count as Fringe and get +4,+10. (I cant find the link to show it but I know I have heard it ruled that way) If that helps.

It says they count as fringe for the purpose of commander effects. So what about talons friends from myrk? It isn't a commander effect, so do they still count as fringe for it?

So I was looking back through old threads for something else, and I happened to come across one from October where Sithborg answered this very question. The ruling was that Talon's CE did work with characters who had Independent Outfit.
