I really like the builds of talon squads. Really like Embo and Zann right now.
So I want to play a fast moving Fringe squad. The problem is that I really need to up the act count so I can use my woks and bring in a MTB. Needs to be around 25+ I believe vs non Rebels. I am still pretty good at getting around Ozzel and Hill mid round.
Not sure what to take out. --Fringe-- 42 Embo 32 Talon Karrde, Information Broker 31 Morrigan Corde 31 Tyber Zann 28 Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler 27 Lobot 9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3
Preferred Reinforcements: (Lobot) 7 Ewok Hang Glider (Lobot) 12 Ugnaught Demolitionist x4 (Tyber Zann) 7 Ewok Hang Glider (Tyber Zann) 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(200pts. 16 activations)

I favor the new Zam Wessal over Embo, but that won't help with activations

Tyber Zann. Embo, Morrigan and Dash are all good attackers, Tyber gives you Bribery and a so-so CE. Heck, bring in 10 Rodian Brutes, who are surprisingly evil at +8/20 with Stable Footing.
EDIT: Tyber is a good attacker, but not as good as the others IMO.

I like the Ewok because its a 6/20 strafe piece that can be 6/30 vs people at half hit points. I do like the idea of bringing in brutes over buggies.
The reason why I like Zann is because he is a good finisher. Can help vs a mtb, Mouse walls since odds are they bring in two 8 point guys and two mice vs 10 mice. He is a good attack in squads that have ways to do damage.
Last he can bring in the Ewok which can be a really annoying finisher if he can hit.

Well, then: Hail of shots = Dash Put the hurt on fast and close = Embo Nerf SA's and CE's, for one character, and speedy attack = Morrigan. Just what do you think will be more handy with high acts? They all are really good.

You could always bring Marn over Zann and save yourself the 10 pts. Gets you 3-4 more activations in the main and still has the bribery you want. Not that great of an attacker, just depends on how you want to go.

Thats not a bad idea to work in marn and maybe Jareel with the TBSV. wow I really like that combo. Works with my speed idea.

And now you've basically just built Laura K's Hat Trick squad.
It's a good squad. You see why she arrived at that combo.

Yeah, I deliberately haven't weighed in on this thread, not because I don't want to help, but because I'm not sure it's possible to make the squad Jonny wants to make do what he wants it to do. Talon's Hat Trick is very solid, but it WILL get out-activated all day long. Still, super fun and definitely doesn't suck

I'm a big believer in Embo. Final shot with Zam is powerful, but you'd have to move her with Talon's 'intuition' thing to get her into position. Embo's range is 24 if you win init and he can climb over guys.

Jason is the one that build led me to that.
I am not sure it works with what I want.
What I want is three good attacks and a way to bring in the ewok. I was upset because the slaver got changed because I had a build that used the Slaver Talon and the Glider.
Still think you can use the ewok to deal with high acts but its a lot harder now.

If I'm running Lobot, and I see Rex and Embo in the other squad, I'm probably bringing in a Czerka Shield Tech. I am interested to see Republic Embo though.

After thinking about it yeah 18 max acts with Tyber really isn't that bad. Just can't get the Ewok to work since it needs around 23 could go the way I want it. I think dropping Tyber for more acts changes the squad to wait Jareel in it.
