Hey guys, who are you the most proud of when it comes to pieces you've designed?

I for one am enjoy the Commanders I create that open up alternate squad types that I think would be viable and fun. These commanders are my favorite when they are Jedi/Sith Beatsticks that are able to hold there own in a fight.
If you cant pick a favorite go ahead and list a top 5

I haven't made too many customs, but I love making them.

Almost every one of my customs has some new unique ability or commander effect. I really love coming up with some new mechanic that opens up a new way to play or sets them apart from the hundreds of pieces we already have.

Favourite Customs:
Janek Sunber, Hero of Maridun
http://www.bloomilk.com/Custom/18119/janek-sunber--hero-of-maridun
I liked this one because it was both flavourful, and it had the Field Promotion SA, which acted as a sort of insurance for your big commanders so they could get into the action more instead of hanging back.

Academy Officer

This one was a fun one, since it introduced the idea of upgrading standard troops to the elite ones, albiet it would be a rare occurance. Also a nice movement breaker.

Trade Federation Droid Saboteur

Basicly lets you turn allied droids into splash damage suicide bombs in a pinch, but not in a way that promotes melee hate. Based off some astromech droids that would suicide bomb you in that old trashy Phantom Menace game.

Howdy!

Apologies for any misunderstandings on my part, but when you say customs,
do you mean custom stat cards, or custom miniature figures? BigGrin
we all seem to use 'customs' as a term for both types, and sometimes that ambiguity can get a little confusing, especially for example where people envisage the term 'customs' to refer to miniatures as they read a thread title, and open the thread up only to find the term actually refers to 'custom stats' hehe.

when it comes to custom stats,
i must admit I am terrible at making stats -
LordBall and Surf are legends at custom stat cards, and their pieces have so much synergy and WotC feel to them, I am in awe of their creativity (I also enjoy loads of the stats that the Bloomilk Community comes up with)
From my own custom stats, I'd say that the collab with LordBall that made Tsui Choi, Survivor, is my favorite stat card I've yet come up with. It made a great Yoda Grand Master + Tsui Choi Dynamic Duo team, and yet was not a broken piece (as compared with say, GOWK).
(jango fett, survivor is a close second, followed by the custom effects, such as Attack X etc... any terrain abilities or things that alter the meta without being broken are abilities I'm amazed by and which enrich the playstyles of our game).

Proportionate/fractional indicies as unit costs are also nice, like cost x where x is... yada yada: they make players think of maths and can lead to interesting combos.

Now, when it comes to custom figures...
thats a tough one, lol. I thoroughly enjoy all the custom figures I've traded with penfriends over the years: it always astounds me how much detail and effort that people can put into such tiny figures!
There's loads of rough'n'ready slap-dash figures I've made over the years, the ARC Gunship v1 is a good example (which I'll be revisiting when I get the Stereoscanner)
*sigh*... if you push me to only choose one figure I'm okay with (a figure is never really 'finished', just a different state of version heh),
i'd say:
Oppo Rancisis, Jedi Master (as made as Naga-Monk/Snake Monster v1 by the folks over at ExManus Studios) is my present favorite,
followed by the Ken-To's custom Ergesh figures... whoa are those something special!
with Yareal Poof, Pablo Jill (made by LordBall, I believe), Yaddle v3 and v4, J'Mikel, Adi Gallia and Sora Bulq getting honorable mentions
(I have a feeling that the Paaerduag, Pong Krell and Jastus Farr customs will be treasured customs in the near future BigGrin ).
The spanish-made custom Jawa's are also honorable mentions: those were sad to see sold when I had to downsize my collection...

If we're allowed to mention other games systems,
the custom Larvox v2 (the variant from the Green Lantern Cinema version) and Galius Zed v2 by DarkBlueAnt are cherished custom heroclix,
as is the custom Krypto the superdog and custom Aquaman in atlantean battle armor figures.
The custom 1/48th Z'Gok is also a figure with much utility... I forget who made the .stl, but its awesome!

@OP
thanks for a great thread and I can't wait to see what everyone else has to say!

@lord ball!
Hey hey, long time no see! BigGrin
There's some sweet customs there that we've not seen before! BigGrin
ah, the classic, iconic dianoga (brings back the memories); its a shame the stats havent aged well on account of the vset power creep (Hutts stats analysis proved there is some mild power creep, though not GOWK level extreme power creep, but a little none-the-less); the dianoga stats are suited to the Rebel Storm and Clone Strike era though.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new batch of figures!
