If you kill a death shooter with MR 2, are you considered adjacent on their dying attack? (Evade in mind)

Yes the attacker is considered adjacent until the entire attack phase is over

Kinda makes Melee Reach a little pointless. Yes, it is better than it was, but, it could get better somehow. (off to work on house rules)
