Ok if I have Malgus and I use FYD on Zekk who is within 12 squares, can Zekk move 6, use pull to bring Malgus adjacent to him to satisfy the ending next to Malgus requirement?

I would say no, since Zekk would have Savage as well and thus be required to end his move adjacent to an enemy, if possible.

If you're within 6, though, you should be able to pull him and then not have to move at all.
(I think.)

If you can't kill the piece you are pulling, that is correct. I know there all kinds of interesting rules from back with Chewie Enraged Wookiee who was a shooter with Savage. Would have to go look to remember the exact rulings.

I'd like to see if there are some rulings that never made it into the FAQ that would cover this situation.
There are consistent references to the Savage character moving adjacent, rather than simply ending it's turn adjacent (if it didn't start adjacent).

You are the rules finder guru swine, but since you can attack before moving you could certainly pull someone closer (replaces attacks) then you are adjacent and then choose not to move. However, if there is another character who you could reach with a double move AND you could kill the piece you are pulling (even if it takes a crit) then you can't pull it.
I'll see if I can find anything, but you are probable more likely to find stuff since you are the rules guru.

i don't think you can pull it adjacent to you anyways.
Force 3, usable only on this character’s turn: choose an enemy within 12 squares regardless of line of sight and cover; that character gains Savage and is not affected by Empathy until the start of this character’s next turn or until this character is defeated; save 16. While affected by this ability: on its turn, the chosen character must move adjacent to this character if it can.
doesn't this mean that they have to move adjacent force pull would not be considered movement, and moving 6 then force pulling would not fulfill the requirement of moving adjacent, it would only fulfill the savage requirement of ending adjacent.... right?

You definitely cannot move within range of Malgus and then use Pull to bring him adjacent.
The question is: If you start your turn within range to Pull, can you Pull an enemy adjacent instead of moving to it?
At the moment, I am inclined to say NO, but I am still thinking over some old rulings on various situations to see if they apply here before giving an official answer.
