This came up in our most recent Hutt Regional match. Ommin was about to lightning me and my opponent combined a Force Point from Ommin with two from maybe Exar Force Spirit resulting in the three points he needed and a world of hurt for me. I queried it asking whether you were allowed to combine Force Points across characters, to which we decided it didn't say that you couldn't. How say you?

I don't believe there is any situation where you are allowed to combine force points. It looks like it wasn't put on the card , but is a given (glossary/FAQ thing) since it is the same CE as Yoda Force Ghose has (MOTF), and very similar to many of the old Palps have and other things.

I agree with Jason.
It was simply an oversight that the reminder text was left off, as it's pretty much taken for granted how those CEs work.
So, chalk up another errata (or at least a FAQ) I should put on the books. Yay.

i do believe that the only circumstance where it is possible is with Meetra Surik, Redeemed Jedi, because her SA says "can spend allies' force points as if they were her own" which i take to mean for the purposes of her force powers and hers alone, all of the force points on your team are a giant FP pool... correct me if i am wrong??
However i do understand that usually its a CE and it says "This character cannot combine fp and still cannot use FP more than once per turn..." but thats for a CE... tough grayish area i think

They should all work the same, regardless of SA or CE. No pooling force points.
ETA: Just to clarify, the "as if they were her own" language is the same as in the Hand of the Emperor abilities, and those don't allow combining force.

@Minijedi UrbanShmi is correct. It's like every character in the squad is a small, individual Force battery.
In fact, someone raised this concern about confusion and "This character can't combine other characters' Force points with her own " was supposed to be tacked onto the ability, for clarity. I guess it didn't make it into the final version.

No, the question was about the piece. I had never heard of it and now I see that its from the customs.
