This came up the other night and I want to know how this is supposed to be resolved so I can play it correctly.
The glossary description for a 'door' is:
This terrain functions like a wall unless it is open. An open door is ignored. A door becomes open if, at the end of any character’s turn, a character is adjacent to it. It remains open until no character is adjacent to it at the end of a turn.
If I were using intuition at the start of the game, and had another character adjacent to the door, would I be able to move through the door? This might also hold true for the first activation of the game, since there has not been an end of turn yet. How should this be resolved?

From the FAQ: Quote:Q: If I start the battle with a character next to a door, is the door open?
A: Yes. Doors adjacent to characters after setup are open prior to the first initiative roll. So to answer your question, yes, if at the start of the game (before any turn has ended), there is a character adjacent to a door, it is open and a character with intuition can move through it.

There is a special door check at the beginning of the game. Notably, however, there is not a door check at the beginning of each round. So that would work at the beginning of the game. I put this together to help with beginning of game and beginning of round issues: Pre-Game and Pre-Round Procedures

Thanks! :) I deferred to my opponent so it was played correctly, but now I know for the future
