What do you guys think is the strongest build in each faction? The game's getting pretty big in terms of what works so it's kind of a judgement call. This is what I'd play at a tournament tomorrow for each faction: Old Republic:http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/120536/sandv-old-republic is still a classic, Spanish Inquisition with Revan: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/130788/spanish-inquisitionSithThe Revan, Caedus, Ommin, Vergere build is popular in New Zealand, and it's certainly interesting with 10 point gambit. It's difficult to flush Ommin out of Gambit. RepublicI think Naboo Troopers are probably their best build, although they have lots of options. Separatistshttp://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/139980/durges-commandos with Durge, CDOs, Sniper/Spotter, and Poggles is doing well in New Zealand (12-2 this season, I think). RebelsI love the http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/146853/playing-jax-olin-the-time build, but I think spamming Tantives is probably the way to go, maybe with Han Rebel General. ImperialThere's a lot of choice here - I don't know about Snowtroopers with the errata, but I think Thrawn, Daala with Elite Scout Troopers, and Daala with Raxus are all options. But I'd probably go with http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/139645/daala-in-her-prime-v2-0MandalorianI guess the GenCon 2014 champion probably wins this - http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/142941/movin-mandos-2014-gencon-champion - but http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/141994/a-little-bit-of-------blues-guitar is nasty too. FringeBoba plus Talon is really strong - he's such a big top of the round threat. We've seen the deepstrike of http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/147158/embolical-karrde---frostycon-ny-regional-2015-winner and the flexibility of http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/135949/running-interference both do well recently. New Republichttp://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/126362/lukes-heroes is my favourite, I think, but it's very close with Solo Charge - and they're both similar with the big NR elements of Disruptive, Ganner, Dodonna, and a big double/twin attacker. Luke GH and Anakin Solo are quite different types of cleanup pieces though - Anakin nukes while Luke is great at polishing off lingering Jedi. Yuuzhan VongI think squads like http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/141581/first-wave are incredibly nasty against most things, even if they struggle against strafe etc.

For Vong, you can bring in nine (9!) Tso'Asu with Reinforcements in that squad. Strafe still hurts, but that should slow them down some. Unfortunately, 5 of them come with Aggressive Negotiations, which makes them less effective as blockers.

It's also good because you can just bring in the Yammosk if there's a CE you desperately want to steal (Tarpals, maybe tempo control) - the Yammosk/Shaper backline always feels a little overcosted to me. And Prefect de'Gara works really well in there.

Even better - you don't want them to have it anyway.

Great list! And nice to see that Vong squad on there haha. It would have won our Canadian tournament if my reserves team didn't spam strafers on the poor blast bug chuckers. Chazrachs are also a good option for them still, maybe even better with this last Vset. Some possible predictions/side notes:
OR -army of light could start becoming a real threat and Kerra is definitely going to find her way into some top squads
Sith - resurgence of Savage? And a great faction to try out the new Killiks
Republic - goes without saying that the local favourite horse for winning is going to be Republic Commandos, however sleeper hit of Dooku in the Republic!
Sep - Dooku deserves a mention for beastly character holding his own against many, as well I predict I may actually try to use a huge team in our regional... Maybe... Possibly... At least I am tempted now haha but yeah we still need some cheap awesome huges *wink Tank droid wink*
Rebel - Old Ben Kenobi is a great start, perhaps with new Yoda or Versatile Leia?
Imperial - return of the long forgotten dominate
New Republic - someone makes Gar Stazi work for them, and Leia peacefully becomes a pain in our sides. But probably business as usual for now.
Mandalorian - Deathwatch? That new guy rocks. As well as thematic Obi/Satine
Vong - the new priest just secured his way into as many squads as the staple Yammosk
Fringe - Killiks? I think they still have a long way to go but what a twist.
