Rigged Detonators and Continuing Damage Options

Does the Rigged Detonators ability apply to characters being damaged by Force Corrupt or Burning Attacks?

The ongoing effect ('corrupted', 'burning', 'poisoned', etc) from those types of abilities is a status placed on the affected character, and is no longer tied to the character that used the ability.

Any saves pertaining to the initial use of the ability would be subject to Rigged Detonators
