Belive me, against a good player, Han Cannon and YoBuck are not easy to beat. You need to keep in mind the players, and not just the sqads, that are concerned in top-level DCI play. Players can make a bad squad decent, but can also make a good squad phenomenal.

Yeah, but if you go against another "good" player the same level as you, than han and yobuck are probably not going to win half the time.

In the past two years at Gencon, I am a combined 15-3 with my two Han Cannon variants. At least 15 of those 18 games were against other good players at least close to my skill level.

I have argued that Han Scoundrel is the best shooter in the game, when played well with the right support. Boba Merc is number 2. Yodabuck is the top melee piece in the competitive game barring GOWK. I am sorry, I do not support your conclusion in anyway.

Awesome, I find your conclusions hard to go with also. Being that you are the new top dawg at my old venue.... you make conclusions like you are playing top notch people. But being that while I was at that venue you could never beat me or any of my players that are at my venue.... well it is just hard to see your conclusions that Han Cannon is easy to beat.

I mean the only person that generally runs Han Cannon there I remember is Zack. He has zero clue how to run it right. So I just cannot get with your conclusions. You also had Danial that took a B&B squad added Boba BH to it. Then swapped Boba within six of half of my squad..... that is not top level play... it is stupid.

So I really think you are seeing some of your results thru rose colored glasses and maybe you should get on vassal and broaden your horizions

Dean, the way Im talking is that most han cannon squads, are completely run around han, so once he is dead game over pretty much, and han isnt hard to kill, I really havnt seen han cannon here that often anymore since I pulled revan at least so about 4-5 months ago, I have no clue who Danial is, I dont know if I was even playing when he was there,

and han cannon doesnt work as good now with the new rule of only activating 1 character per turn, and no Zach really wasnt the only one who ran it (I do say though that when he starts a type of squad he doesnt try anything else) zach did run it more than anyone else but there were more than just him.

Ive tried getting on vassel but way to complicated, I dont know what it is but the Java wont download on it no matter how hard I try.

And again that proves that you are seeing things thru your venue only. You weren't around when I played Han Cannon. I dont play him that much anymore. Han can be easy kill it just depends on who is running him. Dont base your thoughts on Han Cannon based on Zack or someone that is at the venue. You should base them on someone who like you would know that Han is the center of a Han Cannon squad (thus the reason for the name of the concept) an would keep him alive. I dont know if you are inferring that Revan is a great Han Cannon counter or not by your post but I would argue he is not. Why does the change in the init rule ruin Han. The init rule made it impossible for Han to tee off on your character for 130 dmg before you move anything but it does not diminish that he can do it the very next activation round.

I find GOWK acceptable in the current meta only because hes in the Republic which lacks the ability to control the game, they don't have int control or activation control and you cant give every character evade and mobile attack which would help GOWK out a lot so it kinda evens out the field in my opinion. They only other faction that could have a GOWK like figure is the old republic because they are still very lacking overall compared to the other factions.

Im not saying Revan is a good counter, Im saying that it is easy to get a piece over there to kill him, I do know that the people here dont play it right, but based on what Ive seen of han cannon's in the squad search they werent to differant than what I see here, I dont see han cannon that much anymore but, I know that if not played right it wont go anywhere, but again with his low hp, I think an Exar squad could beat it easily, you could run a speeder bike 24 squares than transfer or get a Rakghoul up close with some bodyguards or something

Im not saying that it wont win Im saying that it most likely isnt going to kick but all the time.
