Con Artist vs Disruptive Options

My team has Con Artist and Disruptive. I steal a commander effect with Con Artist, then disrupt the enemy commander. Does my Con Artist mini still benefit from the disrupted commander's effect?

No, because the Con Artist character is only subject to the CE--if the commander isn't transmitting, they can't get it.

Incidentally, I have also always played that the Con Artist doesn't get the CE in ITS OWN Disruptive bubble (because it's an enemy CE); however, I don't know if that's been officially ruled.
