Map Pack 6 is the absolute last set of maps I will be creating for Star Wars Miniatures. We had a great run. I’m almost done Map Pack 6. Thanks to those who pledged. Those who didn’t, hope you can get your hands on one this summer.
Over the years, we’ve heard countless times, “If you don’t like the way it’s going around here, don’t be here.” I agree with that sentiment. I don't really belong here anymore. I havent played a SWM game in 2 years. Plus, I’ve got the kid now and other map projects I want to focus on.
I was able to turn a hobby into a great part-time source of income, but this particular aspect of my life has to evolve and move on. Map Pack 6 was absolutely my best set of maps, I did it by myself, and I know in my heart that I’m leaving this game on a very high note.
You’ve all got Chris, and he’s able to provide something for you without having to get involved with too much else, and I’m always going to be envious of him for that, and envious of his talents.
I hope the ones that are still here keep playing and keep having fun. As soon as these maps are done, which will just be in a couple more weeks, I promise, I’ll get them all out to you, and I’ll say my goodbyes then.
Keep in touch, I’m on Facebook.

You will be missed brother, your maps were the most creative, balanced, beautiful and playable out there and your work will be sorely missed. Thank you for your work, time and effort that you have provided over the years and still looking forward to working with you on your final custom map. Come hit us up whenever you want and the community won't be the same without you brother.

I guess we'll have to settle for one map at a time in the future. Seriously, though, love the maps. I hope you at least get a game in on each of your new maps.

Thanks for delivering us such amazing maps over the years JC. I am really happy with the way the maps look for Map Pack 6, but at the same time I am sad that it'll be the last ones you make for Star Wars. Wish ya the best in your future endeavors!

JC -
thanks for all your work - its been fantastic. While I'm sad to see you go, I totally get it.
We play less and less, and with a family growing up, there is a lot of other stuff that takes over.
I hope you truly know what joy you brought to the game.

Also if anyone here doesn't already follow Matt on Facebook, the adventurer's atlas has been posting some amazing previews of the final map pack. Best of it's time for sure

Thanks for all your hard work over the years in producing and bringing amazing, well designed, and fun to play on maps for the SWM community. You were an important part of our game, and if you are not in the Hall of Fame for SWM, you should be! With your work now ending for the game, your mark/imprint will last a lifetime. Thanks again JC for the awesome maps, that I know I will be playing on, for as long as I can roll a D20, and move minis across them, I will be using for the rest of my life. May the Force be with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all you've done. +1 +1 +1 +1 I have a set of MP2 I luckily picked up shortly before you ran out of them, and every publicly released SWM map you've done since. (also the Sith Temple ). Quite a body of work. Best wishes, and thank you.

Thanks for all you've done. +1 +1 +1 +1 +1 Your legacy and art have created worlds from our imaginations, landscapes for our stories and battlefields for our tactical enjoyment. Next to WOTC I would argue you have had the biggest single impact on our game. Especially in the post WOTC era. Nothing but good thugs to day about you man. My only regret is missing map pack 1 but I have got many copies of all the rest since then.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I will miss seeing what new environments you come up with for each new set, Matt. You've been able to fill in a lot of the thematic blanks that WotC left untouched, and do it so well that I haven't felt a need to cover the same ground. Bravo!
