I've been busy! But Friday I played Kez.
He played OR with Bastila, Arfan, Cad Bane, Tott, and a Nexu.
I played Mandos with Resurrector, Neo officer, Kelborn, Mando tactician, Lobot, etc.
He won map and we played on Jabbas Palace.
Memory is a bit fuzzy, Kez can add more details.
He made the Nexu a mount for Cad, I got some end of the round long shots on Tott but couldn't finish him off. He turned on ABM, and then we danced around for a bit. He finally charged in with the Nexu to get my Lobot. I closed in and killed off Cad. ABM goes down and we brawl. I couldn't finish him off completely, 168 to 80 or something like that.
2-0 me.

I played Tint about 2 weeks ago. He won map role so we played on ravaged base.
I played this --Daala luscious-- 27 Admiral Daala 20 Admiral Piett 16 Admiral Gilad Pellaeon 16 Security Officer Stormtrooper 14 Imperial Officer 14 Stormtrooper on Repulsor Sled 11 Captain Needa 8 Mas Amedda 8 R7 Astromech Droid 15 Imperial Dignitary x3 45 Raxus Prime Trooper x9 3 Mouse Droid 3 Ugnaught Demolitionist
(200pts. 23 activations)
And tint played Mace, GOWK and Boba AFH with r2 and fodder.
I swapped out my security officer for yage to ensure I was always getting the much needed bonuses.
1. Position, he keeps r2 by boba and I bring most of my guys from the commander safe zone and a handful on the other side. 2. I see a couple of moves he has with boba so I adjust accordingly. He is still able tow boba up top out of the room, where he can get gambit, in order to take out 2 of my guys, would have been 3 but those vassal dice showed a 1. Losing three guys a round wasn't going to fly and boba is to survivable to try and shoot him. I was able to charge the troops 12 in order to take out both of his uggies and draw a line on R2A in order to kill all of his door control. I then proceeded to lock Boba and a brute up and away from the majority of my troops so I could focus on the big beats. I end by moving palleon up protected by diplomats and without getting the guys in the bouble... yet. 3. A lot of position of diplomats to protect palleon and create AOOs on his guys, mainly obiwan. I was having to sacrifice a trooper or two a round in order to try and put damage on GOWK. He got a good line on my imperial officer and yage because I didnt realize that there was a whole in a wall! (facepalm) He only killed the imp officer, but that really dropped my squads power level down. -Eventually boba makes it back to the battle, but by that time I have killed mace and GOWK with the troopers/diplomats and it is just about to late for him to have much effect. The game ended with me having no more raxus troopers and lost 1 diplomat and the sled. Palleon had no damage on him delt the killing blow to boba. -If I do not lock boba away it is a very different game, this game convinced me that building with Elite Scouts is the way to go. At least for my play style.
I get it 200-95 I do believe...

Played my match with Darth Rattlehead: My squad was a modification of one of my earlier squads: --Hot Topic-- 50 Boba Fett, Assassin for Hire 32 Talon Karrde, Information Broker 28 Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler 28 Mira of Nar Shaddaa 27 Lobot 12 Gha Nachkt 7 R7 Astromech Droid 12 Klatooinian Black Sun Thug x2 3 Rodian Brute Through Lobot I brought in the MTB and 6 mice, first time really playing the MTB and I now see why MTB engines are so popular. DarthRattlehead played: http://www.bloomilk.com/Squad/160318/krell-and-the-smelly-commandos--200pt-squad---krell and the smelly commandos (200pt squad)-- 61 Pong Krell 36 Commander Cody, CC-2224 26 Elite Republic Commando - Boss 25 Elite Republic Commando - Fixer 25 Elite Republic Commando - Scorch 11 ARF Trooper 9 R2-D2, Astromech Droid 10 Spaarti Clone Trooper Demolitionist x2 I won map roll and we set up on Rancor Pen. He took left and I took right. First round we both just starting moving forward. I get gambit. Pong Krell got no reserves. Second round I moved out boba and killed scorch, knocking out his shield capabilities. Fixer attempted to shoot Boba but he bait-and-switched out of there, and fixer killed the R7 that was swapped in. Mira moved out and knocked out fixer. Dash knocked out R2 and his ARF trooper. I get gambit. Pong Krell did not get any reserves or save anyone Next round boba moves forward and kills Cody and wrist cables Boss. A spaarti shoots at Boba but he again bait-and-switches out of there leaving a rodian brute which was killed. Everybody else moves towards where boss is hiding and also to set up for an eventual LOS on Pong Krell. I get gambit. Pong Krell did not get any reserves or save anyone. Pong Krell gets reserves and brings in Sev and a spaarti. He goes first, and moves Boss out to shoot mira, but is within talon's bubble and cannot use his cannon to fire off Sev. Boba follows up and kills Sev. Mira, dash, talon, gha, and a klat all move in and clean up everyone except Pong Krell, who has taken damage. Pong almost saved Boss but we realized that Talon disrupted the commander effect. Final round boba moves in and kills Pong Krell, ending the game. Final score was over 240 to 17 in my favour. The rolls did not go well for DarthRattlehead and my MTB didn't help much either.

just for clarification, the MTB would make Pong's init roll a 1, so he should have never gotten reserves unless the person with the MTB also rolled a 1 forcing a re-roll. It clearly wouldn't have made a difference in this game above, but just for future clarification of how MTB works. Your final roll is changed to a 1 so unless you have reserves on a 1, you wouldn't ever get them.

Doesn't Sense the Future happen before your end roll is determined? (Another reason why I hate the MTB more than any other piece!)

yes sense the future happens before final roll is determined so unless the person with the MTB or the person with sense the future rolls a 1 Pong can't get his reserves. I faced the same problem at the Indiana regional a couple of weeks ago, fortunately my opponent rolled a 1 first round and I got reserves on the roll off, and then a couple of rounds later I rolled a 1 and sensed the future to make both rolls a 1 and again force a reroll for init which also got reserves on a roll of 20. Still wasn't able to win the game, but getting those reserves twice when I shouldn't have sure helped.

Who won the all important team competition? I know we had the top 8 announced but I want to know about the Masters of The Force. Which by the way was the most fun I have had in a tournament ever. I loved the team aspect you created. Mad props.

Right! First, let's take a look at the results from the two Groups! The Core1 16 pts: thereisnotry [Team Champion] 5-1 2 15 pts: atmsalad [Dark Lords of the South] 5-1 3 13 pts: Amadeus [no team] 4-2 4 6 pts: Darth Moore [no team] 3-1 (75% win ratio) 5 6 pts: UrbanJedi [Team ITGS2BFun] 2-4 6 6 pts: Dr Daman [Team Awesome] 2-2 7 2 pts: jen'ari [no team] 0-4 8 1 pts: Echo24 [Team Champion] 0-1 9 0 pts: Darth Rattlehead [Dark Lords of the South] 0-3 10 Johnnyb815 [no team] yet to playThe Outer Rim1 18 pts: spryguy1981 [Team Awesome] 6-0 2 13 pts: theultrastar [Team Awesome] 6-0 3 11 pts: TimmerB [Team ITGS2BFun] 4-2 4 6 pts: Mando [Team Long O] 1-5 5 4 pts: Flying Arrow [Team Long O] 1-3 6 3 pts: Weeks [Team Champion] 1-0 7 6 pts: Darth O [Team Long O] 2-2 8 3 pts: UrbanShmi [Team ITGS2BFun] 1-4 9 0 pts: kezzamachine [Dark Lords of the South] 0-3 10 0 pts: Minijedi [no team] 0-2 Obviously, you're all thinking the same thing: Since Kezza isn't in this anymore, is there any point in carrying on? and, even though I agree with you, we need to stay focused and finish this competition. So, congratulations to the Top 4 from the Core: thereisnotry, atmsalad, Amadeus and Darth Moore and to the Top 4 from the Outer Rim: spryguy1981, theultrastar, TimmerB and Mando - you're through to the Knock Outs and now head over to http://www.bloomilk.com/Forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=18164 to learn your fate!

Secondly, we now turn our attention to the all important Masters of the Force Team Tournament. In the end, there could be only one and they certainly made sure of that with a whopping 88% win ratio! Congratulations to our International Masters of the Force: spryguy1981, theultrastar and Dr. Daman - it's Team Awesome! That also means we can crown spryguy1981 as the Master of the Force! (That is his title from now on. I expect you to use that title from now on.) Here are the final results:
Team Points 1 37pts Team Awesome 14-2 2 21pts no team 7-9 3 20pts Team ITGS2BFun 7-11 4 20pts Team Champion 6-4 5 16pts Team Long O 4-10 6 15pts Dark Lords of the South 5-7
