I agree, some of Bloomilk's functionality is still a work in progress -
but, it is awesome compared to elsewhere
I can assure you
I empathise- I've also tried looking for glossary terms etc, and had bizarre results returned.
If only, the glossary definitions were indexed more awesomely
that, and a cull of many overlapping 'custom CE's/SA's" would be great - because so many are very close, sometimes a simple term results in 40 odd 'variants'...
While I agree, that more search functionality (particular a 'thread search - Boolean contains word x,y,z)
would be AWESOME, and would help in recalling previous discussions or rulings more easily;
luckily, there is 'google search' or "Google Analytics Website search/term search"
This would be the quickest way to address the observed shortcoming.
A person can go to Google (who, incidentally, obtains metadata about what you have searched etc),
and to prevent tangential/unwanted imagery/results from being returned,
and set the advanced search parameter to search only Bloomilk.com for |x,y,z| term
you can make it search a particular suite of pages, and you can set the match conditions (exactly, near, including etc).
or the date of result - newest to oldest, oldest to newest etc...
So, you'd set it to only search the string of hyperlinks from the Glossary URL, or the "Rulings" threads (yes, you have to manually ctl+c input all URLs you want to restrict the search to...)
a potential search string:
"No-Force-Rating + Living (non-droid, non-cyborg instead?) + Melee Attack SA"
It adds a few seconds, but, it can be a life-saver
