Say a character like Fenn Shysa triggers his bodyguard ability and gets his free shot off. Then say he lands the attack on the piece that has multiple attacks like double or w/e. If he hits do you roll for Jolt, and if you fail the roll, are all the rest of your attacks then stopped from happening?
This scenario is assuming a Czerka Scientist is hanging out by him.

Yes, I think if someone who is jolted mid-attack would be considered activated, thus losing the second or third shot.

Jolt has no effect on characters that are already activated (if I'm understanding your question).

Shysa's ability for a free shot goes to an ally with Jolt. Ally with Jolt shoot the attacker. The attacker fails his jolt save. Does the attacker get to make his second shot?

The attacker has already activated by taking the first shot, correct? Jolt would never come into play.
I can think of scenarios where an unactivated character is making the attack, but I still don't think it would change anything. Like, someone benefiting from the NCO's CE while unactivated could be activated by Jolt, but it would just keep them from taking their regular turn.

Alright, that makes sense.

But the Glossary text says:
An enemy hit by this character's attack is stunned (considered activated) this round; in effect, it skips its turn. That enemy can avoid this effect with a save of 11. Huge or larger character ignore this effect.
Would it not skip the rest of its turn?

Would it not skip the rest of its turn? Because that's not how activation works. Think about a character with Jolt taking an AoO (assuming normal part of turn movement). The character hit by that attack isn't prevented from moving beyond the space where it was hit by the attack. It's already activated (and if the character with Jolt had opportunist, it would be benefitting from opportunist in the AoO). But Jolt only ever comes into play if the character being hit was unactivated when it was hit.

Glossary text of activation agrees with that. Lame. But I get it. Thanks!
