Any Republic characters in this Epic set? We need something that's not Yoda or Mace. They're the obvious 1st and 2nd choices for Epics, but in Epic squads there are times when you almost want to go with a Tarentatek instead of the 'real' Republic Epics. If you go with Epic Mace, you may as well go with Critdu instead and save 75 points, unless you REALLY need that CE. With Yoda, oftentimes you want one of his smaller versions since he's easier to fit in at 500 points - even Clone Strike Yoda gets new life at 500 points.
That said, I have no idea who the perfect Republic Epic would be. Anakin and Obi-Wan would both have the same problems mentioned above (useful stuff on the cheaper versions) in addition to already having a bazillion renditions (across 2 factions!) each. Qui-Gon just got an upgrade in set 10. Cin Drallig is cool, but his mini already captures the character pretty well. No one else is significant enough to be an epic.
Maybe we could go with a super-expensive Captain Rex? :P

I'd like to get some playtesting in for Epic III, but with playtesting for Vset's taking place, it is hard to prioritize what needs to be tested first. I'll try and get some in soon. I encourage people to sign up for playtesting Epic III also as we don't have many signed up for it. I helped test a couple but I am free to help with more playtesting of the rest of the epic list if needed.

I think Lando will be pretty cool - I'm interesting in trying him in a few different builds - I think Kyle Combat Instructor might be a feasible option with him.

I only discovered the character about three or four months ago, but I like the Red Hand Troopers, so I can't wait to see how they're boosted Imperial 22. Lord Hethrir I really like the Reborn subfaction, and Hethrir looks like a cool addition. New Republic 25. Garm Bel Iblis, Ruthless Tactician Fringe 29. Aves, Communications Officer 30. I'm most excited about the Lost Tribe Isolationist. That piece was one of "my" babies (with lots of input from the other designers, of course), and the playtesters seemed to really like what it brought to the faction. I'm excited to see what people come up with for that piece.
Otherwise, I'm really excited to build with the new Lando (everyone knows how I love pilots) and of course Camper. I think the Fringe builds are getting some really interesting stuff with this set, as well as some new good Lobot options.
In addition to all of the huge love, the Seps are getting some interesting support for living characters, which I personally really enjoy.
And of course the mini-set has lots of cool stuff. I'm interested to see what people think of Count Vidian, in particular.

Have we seen any stats for Wolffe and the Wolfpack? I'm always excited for more clone subfactions. Love ARCs and Fox and his Guard Troopers from a few sets back
