Does Bombad Gungan work on a Disintegrate?

Bombad Gungan redirects the attack. This is long before the roll of the 20.

So the attacker with disintegrate can be made to attack someone else, but if the roll is a 20, the target (whoever it ends up being) will be disintegrated.
