Hi there! I'm new to the game and really keen to get to know anyone in the Opunake/Taranaki area that plays. I have a small collection and I also play X-Wing and Armada. My favourite piece is Nien Nunb!
...but, seriously, you may notice that I'm actually an old returning player. Bottom line for me is, while I left the Bloo several months back, I have found that my Minis game a suffered markedly because I don't constantly check the Bloo. In the interests of keeping the NZ SWM game alive in my own heart(!), I need to Bloo. Anyhoo, keen to get up to speed with Vset11 before she drops.
Go MiniCron!

Nien Nunb!?
Glad they made him unique, instead of a "Sullustan powerhouse whose stats are too powerful to grant him any SAs". At least with Bounty Hunter, you might now have a chance at stopping him.

A few reasons, really. Chief among them was that I left in a but of a huff, so I'm kind of starting again. Also, the Save11 group is at an interesting crossroads and I'm keen to try rethink how we handle Minis so this may just be a new chapter.

Welcome back, Kez! Here's the spoiler thread for Vset 11: http://www.bloomilk.com/Forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=18520The fall is traditionally the low season for Star Wars Minis, so it's hard to say how much impact Vset 10 has had. From a glance, Sylvar, Obi/Ani, Aves, Ghent, and Sabine Wren look like the pieces most likely to have a strong impact on the meta. There are plenty of others that are playable, but they would fit into familiar roles within squads without changing the meta much. And of those that I mentioned, we're yet to see whether they will have an impact. It's just that they bring something different to the table such that if they are played it may change the meta.

Welcome back Kezza!
I to was almost at the tipping point a few months ago when there was so much negativity and drama on Bloomilk caused by a few individuals, but it has all returned to normal and I hope that it doesn't get that way again. I don't blame you one bit for having left cause I felt the same way. Thankfully the changes that the competition comittee has enacted has done are being well recieved and this next season of SWM's should make for a very interesting meta. Shooters will most likely take a step back and the more balanced squads will now do better, which is perfect!
