Hi Everyone,

I don't fancy myself to be very spectacular at minis but I'm having a really rough time against a Sep team my brother made. We play 150 pts and winner has to stay the same team until they're beaten. No Vsets, just the physical ones.

Here is what I'm trying to counter:

Count Dooku of Serenno

Durge, Jedi Hunter

Chameleon Droid

General Whorm Loathsom

I got pretty close with the Republic and Imperials but I can't put away Durge to save my life. Any strategies or particular pieces to use or build around would be awesome.

Thanks in advance for any tips.

I think something like this should win consistently against that Sep squad.

--lobbin' luke--
27 Han Solo, Smuggler
27 Luke Skywalker, Rebel Commando
20 Princess Leia
16 Elite Rebel Commando
16 General Crix Madine
14 General Rieekan
9 General Dodonna
9 R2-D2 with Extended Sensor
8 Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Spirit
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist

(149pts. 10 activations)

Seps don't have great ranged defense, and can't keep up with this build's mobile, evade, disruptive, and Han putting out 90 damage per round. No door control either, which is another weakness to exploit.

Thanks for the super fast reply!

Here's where it gets tough for me though, I don't have all of those guys...

I've got Han, Dodonna, and the Uggies of the ones you listed.

Is there a way on BlooMilk to add characters to a big old owned master list for instance like this so I wouldn't have to nickel and dime people every time I ask a question?

I'll try and sub some fringe guys (since I have a ton of them) with the strats you said to make up for it and test it out.

Disruptive would work wonders. Crix would be a good piece to pick up, he's awesome. If you have any New Republic, sending Kyle Katarn, Combat Instructor or Kyle Katarn, Jedi Battlemaster should mess with them. A good deep strike threat to take out Whorm could also work.

I'll have to pick up Crix then.

New Republic is one of my smaller factions. Here's what I've got:

Han Solo, Galactic Hero
Wolf Sazen
Corran Horn
General Wedge Antilles
Yound Jedi Knight

Here's my Rebels in addition to the ones in the post above:

Luke Skywalker, Legacy of the Light Side
Rebel Snowspeeder x3
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Han Solo, Rebel Hero
Luke Skywalker of Dagobah x2
Luke Skywalker, Young Jedi
Rebel Captain x4
Princess Leia, Hoth Commander
Luke Skywalker, Rebel
Rebel Heavy Trooper x4
Bothan Spy
Hoth Trooper
Rebel Trooper x3

Maybe we can cobble something together with these guys?

Yes, you can log your whole collection on the site here. Click the Collection menu and you should figure it out pretty quickly. The only thing to note is that when you mark that you own something, a 'save' button appears next to that mini. The button that appears didn't work. You need to use the 'save' button at the bottom of the page.

On the collections page click the pencil icon to edit.

I don't think you have enough good Rebels to trouble that squad. You probably want mobile shooters and override to trouble that squad. It has a lot of firepower up close, but it's pretty easy to out-tech it if you have the right pieces.

Activations are what'll win you the game. Make him waste the activations then dogpile on them.

If I were to make a hate squad for that using only WotC sets, I'd probably bulk up on Kel Dor Bounty hunters supported by Nyna Calixte and IE Thrawn. It forces your opponent to trudge across the map to git to you whilst being whittled down the entire time, and when they do get over to you and kill a unit, they take 40 damage for their troubles.
