I'm curious whether Jar jar can redirect attacks to qui-gon light spirit to prevent any damage to my team

Actually, yes.

Bombad Gungan can allow you to redirect attacks, abilities, and force powers to characters that would be immune to them (The FAQ cites sending Force Lightning to a Force Immune character and Thud Bug to a Droid). In such cases, the action would be negated.

Such is the insanity that is Bombad Gungan.

I guess that's one more reason to use quiqon light spirit instead of jedi master in that freaky jar jar squad
