OK, so we're playing, and player A doesn't realize until the last round they have been attacking reinforcements. Player B brought them, but never specified which ones they were. It's a close game, what would you do?

I think the player who didn't label their reinforcements is at fault - I'd probably rule that whichever pieces got defeated first count as original squad pieces. So if you had two Ugnaughts in the base squad and two as reinforcements, the two defeated first should count for points.

Agreed. It's the reinforcement using players responsibility to clearly differentiate thier reinforcement pieces.

As a judge I'd do exactly as The Hutts described.

I personally use a small piece of putty on the head of those pieces, and point it out to my opponent at the beginning.
