restricted Map lists A, B, C
Swiss hour long rounds, followed by playoffs for top 4 positions
Head Judge: General_Grievous
Like last year, more of a friendly tournament as far as no prizes go as our location means none of us can make it to Gencon but expecting a good turn out of players so far. And the early time is because most of our players are Fort mcmurray evacuees that are all living in Edmonton while awaiting to return to our burned home. Should be a good distraction and fun for all.

Yes to tomorrow, things have been a bit crazy because of the fires up here, but it was the only day that worked for the majority of our players, both those form Fort Mac that are displaced and those that are in Edmonton. Open to other people but last year it was just our Edmonton gamer group, post here is to open up to others as well as for official status.
But, my mistake with the map lists, I had read the post about the updated lists but mostly copy-pasted this from last year's post. The actual maps are the 2016 list:

2 point win for me but close game
Sheldon versus Josh:
Sketchy 2 point win for Josh as Ysalmari was apparently misunderstood/used
Nik versus Dan:
2 point win for Dan as his Jedi out fixed the imperials in the temple
Nathan gets the first round free pass
2nd round:
Josh Versus Luke and Josh's Sith used the power of the dark side temple map to beat the Mandalorians
Sheldon versus Obi_Dan on the Cantina, and his drunken Bounty Hunters cancelled the hippie Jedi's force
Nathan versus Nik, Guns do beat force
And I get the second round pass.
Semi Finals:
Grievous (Sep) versus Sheldon (Fringe). Total victory by elimination for my forces, due to Grievois critically wounding Talon and Evazan accidently killing Talon when he tried to heal.
Nathan (NR) versus Josh (Sith). Total victory for Sith on Nar Shadaa
Bronze medal Game:
Sheldon (Fringe) versus Nathan (NR), Frine barely scraped out a super close win with last round being Cad against Wedge and Jariah
Gold medal final:
Josh (Sith) versus Me (Seps), due to a horribly timed critical and his time being built to absolutely slay team it was. Very anti-climactic one way beat down in his favour. Poor poor Wheelbike just couldn't hold up against all those Lightsabers and 30 damage.
All and all a ton of fun but the bronze game was much more fun to watch then the gold
