Scenario Anakin on STAP with Shmi Skywalker within 6. YV warrior of your choice runs up to Anakin and attempts to use blast bug. Does Shmi get to use decoy, when Anakin is targeted?

Ok. I wasn't sure with the whole damage cant be prevented or redirected wording

I'm no official source, but I believe 'redirecting' damage is basically Bodyguard.

Yeah, basically redirecting damage is from Bodyguard or similar abilities.

Abilities like Decoy and Draw Fire will take effect when the actual targeting occurs. Blast Bug's restriction is only when damage is applied.
