unfortunately as these things do,

I don't want it to be true,
though it is.
Carrie Fisher is no longer with us.
Princess Leia, you might be gone, though never forgotten -
remembered not only for bringing a lot to the role of Leia Organa Solo
(canonical adventures in the NJO book series etc, where she'd go on to be a jedi consular etc),
though for being much more -
a formidable actress, great instructor in the arts, patron of charity, benefactor to many,
a rolemodel, candid commentator and fun person.
thank you for what you have given to a lot of people.
