In my old age, I have forgotten the interaction here;

If I move to attack the enemy, and I have Greater Mobile Attack, Double Attack, and Momentum, does my second attack get the momentum bonus as well? Confused Thanks in advance.

PS

a) Follow-up question piggy backing the first; if the character has Twin Attack, would the second attack get the momentum?

b) How about if a character has galloping attack? Does the character get momentum bonus on each character it attacks on the galloping run?

To answer all the questions, Momentum applies as soon as the character has moved a single square and will apply to all attacks that character then does, not just the first one.

Where the confusion tends to occur is that there are some Commanders who give Momentum out, but only after the character has fully finished moving (Durge, Warmaster Lah, etc.), so those CEs don't really work with Mobile or Galloping attack.

Here's a billiv15 quote from 2010 to help clarify the General Skywalker/Yobuck stuff.

Quote:
General Skywalker's CE affects a figure the moment you declare that your move has ended. This occurs prior to the last attack made via Gallop in the order of effects. Therefore, you move 16 with Masterspeed (usually after a tow of 12 from R2, or followed by a swap from Panaka to make the range much more than 16), and then take your gallop attack(s) with momentum, followed by the regular attack with momentum on any one of those targets. For example, you can often base thrawn and mas at the end of one run, kill mas, and do 60 to thrawn. It tends to not matter what the imperials have left to go in most cases, as they aren't likely to kill yoda, and then swap him away to finish thrawn the very next round (often can be pulled off in round 2 and 3 of those games.

Hutts, I don't know if I understand. From your quote, it sounds like you can gallop with momentum, but I don't believe that is true. I'm I misreading your quote or does swapping or being towed have some way of triggering General Skywalkers CE?

You can get momentum on your last square of galloping attack, once you've finished moving. So you can hit a bunch of things for 20 on the way in, stop, hit your last square of galloping attacks at 30, then have your double attack against one target (if you haven't moved too much) for 30 as well.

Those gallop attacks occur after the movement has ended.

Hey everyone,

I dug up an old bloomail that I sent to Bill years ago, and he explains that if Yoda on Kybuck, moves up to a maximum of 16 (Speed 10 and Master Speed ), at the end of his move, he can do 30 dmg on one character, then attack twice on another character, because he has gallop attack and his regular attack. If he goes more than his speed and master speed, then he is not able to do his regular attack at the end, just the gallop. This should clear up some of the details of this.

Correct. A move of up to 16 (using a fp for master speed) allows Yoda to end his move, just granting GS's CE and then make his gallop and regular attack on something. Should he kill it, he gains Rolling Cleave, allowing him to move an additional square and another attack, which if done right, might also grant additional gallops. Is that clear enough, or is there anything else you want to know about it?

Hey Bill,
Can you please explain how Yoda/Kybuck gets potentially 60 dmg(Galloping attack and a reg attack?) at the end of his move. Thanks in advance:)
