I thought it was a cool idea, and I downloaded it, but it kept crashing at exactly the same point for me.

Other people might have got it to work - it did look fun, just crashed at the same point for me every time.

You can download it and try for free but it's a self contained game with a few Rebel Storm squads, and you can play against AI.

Right now we have a programmer willing to put time into this project, I for one am going to try and support him and play test when I can. :)

It took a while, but folks have found it AWESOME!  its from ~2015, but it's good stuff ain't it? hehe. I cannot support this project moreso. I see the potential for Metacombo testing in rapid AGI for new statcard playtest automating, which is somewhat easier to do in the framework SWMplay made, as compared with VASSAL. It's a lot of fun isn't it? It's right up there with "Tabletop Boardgame Simulator" and several other projects, just a little ahead of VASSAL in my humble opinion. SWMPlay still frequents Bloomilk, from time to time. |I can't thank them enough for their ideas on stat-card automation/scrapeing and batch-transliteration.| Real world got in their way for a while. If we're interested in making something happen there, we can certainly reach out and contact them and get a ball rolling.
