Here's the thing: I have 4 Rebel Snowspeeders ( 3 BH, 1 Hoth Pack) and I was wondering if putting them all in the same squad would be a good idea. If I also added Han in stormtrooper armour and Leia, hoth commander they can be very deadly 200 point squad.

Let me know what you think.

At the very least, I think it would be a lot of fun to use, provided the map doesn't cut you off too much.

Personally, though, if I were trying to run something like that, I'd drop one of the basic models and either Han or Leia, then have Luke's Snowspeeder take lead for that whole Red Squadron Hoth feel.

Which map would this work best on? Something without any blocking terrain right?

My map of choice for my Luke SS squads usualy is the Echo Base Outpost, from the Hoth Battle Pack.

yeah but if i was to run something like that with a squad of snowspeeders and put them against an at-at i would make my own custom game board.
4 x 8 sheet of plywood paint it white then put a 1 inch square grid on it and make my own custom terrain.
have been thinking about doing this, just hard to find the time and others that would be interested in playing and possibly contributing in the construction of such game board.

Luke's speeder plus a couple other speeders plus Rieekan and/or Dodonna would be very frustrating to face. No AOO's, hard as balls to shoot, impossible to catch. Definitely surprise your friends with that!

Problem is, I don't have Rieekan or Luke's Speeder. I do have Dodonna, though, but I never use him in any squads. Good idea!

Tried putting them all in today against my friend. We were using only my minis, and I ended up losing on the Valley of the Sith map. He had all my Mandalorians and we were playing all factions, so he got Han and stuffed up my plan. I killed all his guys except for Mandalore the Indomitable. Sad
