I know that attacks and movement are generally considered distinct actions during a character's turn, so here is my question:

If a character has Mobile or GMA, are the before and after movements considered separate actions since the attacks occur in between, or do the attacks merely interrupt the movement action in those cases?

I think it is the latter...

I believe you can use the "zero time" actions in between movement and attacks. However, you must use the attack action, because even with Mobile Attack, you can't move and Force Stun, and then move again.

Thanks Sithborg. The Force Stun precedent seems to answer the question well.
So attacks (only in conjunction with mobile or greater mobile) are an exception that can interrupt the movement action, but zero time abilities have to occur before or after (all) movement. That is how I thought it worked, but I was wondering if there was a loophole where mobile/GMA was concerned.

Much obliged BlooMilk

What if you have GMA, move 3 and use Force Stun, then move another 3, but you don't make any attacks? I had always figured that was OK. Makes sense if it isn't, I just hadn't seen that scenario come up before (honestly, I'm not sure if it even CAN come up...)

Well, the original (unstated) impetus for my question was me thinking about Force Leap and GMA - which I believe would apply to only 3 pieces (two Reb Lukes w/Rieekan/TBSV, and Cade Padawan w/Gen Wedge/TBSV)... whether you could move and attack (hoping for a kill), and then declare FL (if needed) to move away with no AoO (and otherwise saving a FP if you managed to kill them).

Rather far-fetched scenario, I know Wink
