Payment: On the day of the tourney is fine, but earlier is fine too.
Where: Akron University, one of the conference rooms in a dorm. Please PM for directions.
When: Saturday, July 11th. Noon.
Point level: 150 (won't be a problem with two boosters from this set)
Max. players: 16
Game time limit: 1 hr.
Gambit: Yes
DCI: No (but using DCI rules)
Style: Swiss pairings. The person who loses the championship game will take second place, and after that places will be determined by: 1) record, 2) number of wins by defeated opponents, and 3) points defeated.
House rules: Force users can spend a force point to open a door that is not currently overridden. They can do this at any point along their movement, but it must be done on their turn.
Prizes: Yes, but what they are and for which places will be determined later, once I know how many people will be playing.
Judges: Me, then Jason Staten. I will issue some rules clarifications for frequently asked questions related to this set once we get closer to the tourney date.

It was a great event!! I had enough fun I didn't mind coming in next to last  . I will let everyone know when would be a good weekend for a constructed event real soon. It will be sometime in early to mid september.

It was interesting that there were two Luke/Leia combos, and they each went 2 wins 2 loses. Luke is a beast, but not a tank.

Had a great time at the tourney, even though I came in 9th - I think. Scored some sweet trades, thanks to all for swapping some minis.
I'm ready for the constructed event, just try to steer clear of home FB games as Kalos and I will probably be tied to the front of a shuttle bus somewhere. That and all the traffic will make it crazy to get to your location.
