I was thinking about some of the new pieces coming out. things that have very specific commander effects and things that limit certain things.
In Magic the Gathering after the first game you can go into your sideboard and change out some cards, essentially creating a different tactic. because you play sets of 3.
I was wondering how it could possibly look for SWM.

Reinforcements is essentially the sideboard. Also Pellaeon. And Versatility in Rebels.

I've had some interesting conversations with different players over that issue and here's two of my favorite suggestions.
1. Limit (extra pieces) for tournament play to a reasonable number. not a suitcase full of Reinforcement and "sideboard" options.
2. Players without SA that allow (extra pieces) may switch up their squads by using a "sideboard" and accepting a loss in build points.
not sure how it would work but interesting ideas nonetheless

Looking through old discussions, and found this.
Limiting Reinforcement options is an amazing idea. Being able to pick any number of pieces to counter everything is ridiculous and removes strategy from play. 100 points of Reinforcement options leaves room for quite a lot. This is brilliant...
