It was more to the fact that Vader of Lothal was very specifically made with an intentional Rival tokeep him from any commanders except force users or troopers.
He still can play with the death troopers (and it's not too shabby - One of his weakest points is locked doors). He just can't play with Krennic.
That is due to Vader of Lothal's design, not Krennic's

Yep tbh though I think the different committees should have a very specific purpose towards a goal, not just loosey goosey purpose. If there is no leadership committee officially, than the"leads" of the different committees (design, balance, pt) should work more closely towards the purpose they want.
Tier shift to more balance across the factions might be the overall goal. With a sub goal of getting OR and Sith on the map.
So balance teams objective is finding melee hate (which they have been doing hopefully blast bugs is next)
PT focused on melee hate and not allowing any more powerful options in rebels and Imperials for the time being. (Which has been happening for a long time, but the old ways are still here)
Design team has the most potential to change the meta. Being very proactive on that end. They need to figure out why nothing can be designed that can rival what had been here for so long. I think the potential for force users is massive and amanoa and a few other pieces can be huge if they have the support they need.
We need to use those"staple" pieces as examples of what makes a melee piece playable the piece of defensive, offensive, mix, etc I love Mario Strikers games because you have different archetypes of players that have only two pluses. And two minutes or complete balance
Defensive and powerful but slow with no finesse Defensive and fast but no power and no finesse Powerful and finesse but slow and no defense Fast and finesse no power or defense Average power, speed, finesse, defense
But they never "cross the streams" and give someone power and speed.
We need to do the same thing here. Define what the archetypes are and find what formula would be too powerful and then go for it.
I said it once and I will say it again I would love for the"miniset " to be composed of all melee force users.

But designers need to get serious about getting melee to be top tier. I am glad they are halting new nonmelee powers and keeping them away from melee hate We just need to get melee on the map more.
