I would really love for people to comment on this issue to where maybe we can see some action on it.

I dont know about anyone else but i feel the people who give you a 1 on a squad that you take your time & think hard about a squad you built & dont leave a comment on it after they rate it a 1 because they are cowards that are basically just trying to get there squad up there & your squad out of the rating chase. Well I feel that anyone who leaves a Vote on a squad between 1 through 10 then they should have to leave a comment. Its really annoying to see your squad get 3 .. 1's & noone telling you why they feel it should be rated a 1.

I just think a simple have to leave a comment when you rate a squad would fix this problem because i've seen a few people who stopped making squads completely because of this problem & im really starting to consider not making squads public anymore. & i dont wanna do that because i want the input & idea's from others but i'd rather not be frustrated that to get idea's & stuff. When you make a squad you wanna see other peoples idea's & input to where you can make it better. & if it gets on one of the top 5 spots than thats good & you get a sense of achievent. But ghost 1'ers that just go on any squad they see & drop ones for no reason is corny anymore. So please Shinja, make it to where if you wanna rate a squad you have to leave a comment. I think this will solve this problem.. Thank you.

thanx guys for backing the idea... see i know theres people on here with mutiple accounts as well who probably rate there own squads. But that doesnt even get me mad its the guys who just when are bored & have nothing to do go around giving any squad they come acrossed a 1. Like you have nothing better to do? how about actually reading the comment the creator left & giving your own input & rating. Even if you feel its a 1 then say it, im sure 90% of the people that get the 1's wont be as mad with a comment than getting a 1 without a comment.. like comeon with that...

I hope this happens... But I can't get any input bad or good on my sqauds now do you like it might make people vote less or only comments on ones... would be easier to have non-blind votes...

Know what would be a cool opition on here for squad building. A thing to where you can subscribe to a users name to where everytime they build a squad that specific user or users you subscribed to you will recieve an alert that they built one. You can subscribe to as many users as you want & each time they build a squad you would recieve a pm or some kind of alert. This way the people you know on here would subscribe to you or even someone you dont know & really likes a squad they seen from you to where every & any squad built would get notice... i think that would be a great thing

Ratings problems has always and will always be a problem. Forcing a comment won't fix it as people would either not rate it at all or worst leave a blank comment just taking up space. "Blank" comment would slow down loading times and make it harder to read all the comment etc.

Personally I would like a feature that when you rate for a squad, you rate all the squad with the exact same build by all users or at least have the opponent to do so(like a "vote all" button). To do this you have take away peoples vote when they change a squad already be rated their squads, which should happen anyways. I voted for the squad I saw not what they changed it to. A "unique" counter that tells you how many squads have the same build would also be cool. I know this could slow down the web or such so it may have to be a non default feature.

I dunno though, i think i would rather not get a vote on a squad rather than get a 1. I have enough people to where they just know my squads and rate them. I say if they will leave a blank comment then you know who it is that is rating you a one. Then on that there should be an option to where you may block any 1 user from looking at your squads. Because thats another problem on here is with someone not happy about a rating they got from someone & then they start arguing & talking uncalled for smack on tghat squads page. It would be cool to have an option that allows you to select the user you want to block from reading you comments & saving it.

Example like myspace, you can select a specific person from looking at your page on there if you type in there name. Something like that would i think save alot of fights & arguments, plus add it one with the idea i had above, would stop all the 1 ratings & would force these people to have to leave a comment & i think the 1 users dont wanna be reconized for doing it so i think it would stop. Anyone really interested in seeing squads leaves comments & rates so i dont think the ratings on squads would slow down at all...

But then you have a bias rating.

Edit: You should never know how is voting on your squad or we get vote wars. FYI this has been talk about heavily before.

Bottom line is, to me this is one of the only options & ways to go with this problem of the 1's & no comments. I for one think by blocking squads yea might stop ratings more & by subscribing to users to see every squad they make would boost ratings up. So iw ould say that would be balanced out.

Now i for one would rather honestly have my squads rated less, than to have a user come on & give it a 1 & basically ruin the squad sending it into the unknown regions of the block milk website. It's just gonna keep getting worse & people i would say %75 of the people building squads are gonna stop rather than just take it. Its ok when it gets maybe 1 rating that is a 1. But how about when they have the top spot & it gets 10 ratings of 1. Then all that work you put into the squad & the pleasure of finally getting on the top 5 is taken away by a loser who thinks its funny. How is that fair? I think these idea's would solve the problems in my opinions.

Honestly it is the same topic and the fact you posted what 4 different threads in 3 forums, sorry you are on a bent but one of the reasons I don't like posting here is spamming like this. Make ONE thread, not 4.

When half the posts in a section are from 1 person, that is overkill.

What's needed is a "shill-buster" algorithm. It would weight votes based on several factors, basically to figure out if people are giving 1's and 10's without a reason. For example, an account that does nothing but give 10's to one single other user's squads and 1's to everybody else would effectively be a duplicate-account and their votes would be weighted less. That's an easy example, but you can get more complicated to figure out who is being dishonest with their votes.
