If the follower starts within 6, do they retain the CE until the end of that turn if they move beyond 6?

i think its you keep the CE untill you move 6 away then it goes away. Cuz i think with getting moble attack from a ce within 6, i think you can use the whole attack, just as long as the actions you make are within 6.. im pretty sure it works like that.

Once you are outside of the CE's range, you are no longer able to benefit from it.

CE's are checked for range the moment you want to take advantage of it. If it's an attack booster, you check just before the attack. If it's a range booster, just before you move. If it's a turn booster, just before the turn. If it's a 0 time ability, you check just before you want to use it.

One that grants you SA's that "Replace Attacks" checks at the time you would make your attacks.
One that grants an SA that's "Replaces Turn" checks at the moment you activate.
So if you have something that grants, say, Charging Fire, to allies within 6, and you start your activation within 6, then yes, you still can carry out the action even though you technically no longer have the SA - the action replaces your entire turn, so once you've started it it no longer matters.
