If you use Doellin's Luck, can you re-roll the save using Princess Leia Skywalker's CE, Sith Recruit, etc?

I would say no, as it is not the character making the save, but the player.

To revisit the questions with a slight twist:
Fringe Thrawn has the SA "One Step Ahead" - Once per skirmish: this character's or an ally's next attack or save roll counts as a natural 11.
Could this be used on the save for Doellin's luck?
