can you use force powers like lightsaber assault and lightsaber sweep against the yuuzhong vong

Those two force powers are both usable against Vong, as they boost the attacker and don't target the force-immune piece being attacked.
*Someone who's better at rules can probably supply better wording and reasoning.

I.e. Lightsaber Sweep doesn't "affect" the Vong in the game sense. Lightsaber Sweep affects you, and generates attacks. The Vong just happen to be the target of those attacks. Abilities like Lightsaber Block DO affect the Vong, because it is affects attacks MADE BY the Vong.

You can't use it because of the other part of Force Immunity: Quote:Enemies cannot affect this character with Force powers, or spend Force points to reroll attacks against this character or to respond to this character's attacks and abilities But it's true that you can use Lightsaber Assault/Sweep against Vong and you cannot use Lightsaber Block against Vong.
