Some squads:"A New Covenant""In the Army Now""Triple Ven""Thon Song""Crusaders!""We Were Soldiers"The Old Republic is a solid faction- squads focusing around the benefits of one or more of the above top characters like Revan or Bastila, with some of the faction's many competent attackers such as Ven Zallow, Atton "Jaq" Rand, or Satele Shan thrown in, can compete with some of the best. Subfactions including Covenant and Army of Light can also field strong teams.
ATTA/RoS newcomers:Xamar, Covenant Consular provides a movement breaker and activation control, and fits especially well into a Covenant squad.
Teethree (T3-M4) is a solid, cheap Override character who can also deal some minor damage.
Johun Othone provides some limited versatility by allowing you to exchange a character costing from 30-40 for a different character of equal or lesser cost, and also gives Army of Light some strong ranged defense by giving out Evade.
