1. If all the doors to a room are closed, can panaka or thrawn still swap people in and out of that room?
2. Can panaka or thrawn swap droids? I assume no since they don't benefit from commander effects.
3. Does momentum work on strafe attack?
4. Does disruptive inhibit relay orders from mouse droids?

There are no restrictions on the character being able to move there.[Edit] You do have to be able to count distance for Thrawn's CE though, which can't be done through walls/doors. DarthBainCapital wrote: 2. Can panaka or thrawn swap droids? I assume no since they don't benefit from commander effects.
Correct. They are "unaffected" by commander effects. If my understanding is complete, you could in fact TARGET them with his ability - however, the effect would fizzle. Unless they're Cyborg, or otherwise state that they still benefit from commander effects, or that droids specifically benefit from their commander effects, pretty sure this is true for all CE's. DarthBainCapital wrote: 3. Does momentum work on strafe attack?
Yes, this is part of what makes Skybuck so good. You can combine any number of abilities whose conditions are fulfilled - but when combining CE bonuses, only the highest counts. DarthBainCapital wrote: 4. Does disruptive inhibit relay orders from mouse droids?
This is a good question, as relay orders is not a CE, so most would probably assume no. And perhaps what "suppress" means isn't immediately obvious. The answer is yes and no, and lies in the glossary text of disruptive: Wotc Glossary wrote: "Enemy commander effects have no effect (on enemies and allies alike) within 6 squares of this character.
Characters within 6 squares cannot receive the benefits (or the penalties) of enemy commander effects until they move out of range. An enemy commander within 6 squares has its commander effect suppressed until it moves out of range. (It still counts as a commander.)
A character who starts its turn outside this range and whose speed is modified by a commander effect continues to move at that speed for the rest of its turn, even if it comes within 6 squares of this character. Conversely, a character that begins its turn within range cannot have its speed modified by an enemy commander effect for the rest of its turn, even if it moves farther than 6 squares from this character."
So what this means is: no units can benefit from CE's, and no commanders can send CE's, within range. This does not, however, stop characters with Relay Orders from broadcasting the CE - only from benefiting from it. Units outside of range of Disruptive but within range of the mouse droid will still be subject to CE's. Distraction works similarly. Example: Player one is adjacent to both an enemy mouse droid and enemy handmaiden. However, another enemy handmaiden is not adjacent to crumb and within range of the mouse droid. This other handmaiden will receive full CE bonuses from being within range of the mouse droid's Special Ability, as it is NOT a commander effect and therefor NOT suppressed.

I'm pretty sure you actually can't swap a piece that's in a completely "locked" room as even with booming voice you still need to count distance to the character

Oh, true; you can't count distance through a door. I'll edit that.

4. Does disruptive inhibit relay orders from mouse droids?
1. You don't count distance through a closed door. If you have Mas Amedda in the squad for Booming Voice, then the squad has unlimited range, but that is not quite the same as boardwide. You still have to count distance from Panaka or Thrawn, which can't happen through a closed door. 2. Nope. 3. It works, but note that some commander effects only grant Momentum after movement ends. A Basilisk War Droid gaining Momentum from Mandalore the Indomitable gets to Strafe using Momentum. However, a Lancer Droid gaining Momentum from Durge does not gain Momentum until it ends its movement. So it does not get to use Momentum until it stops moving and therefore does not get Momentum during Strafe. Note the difference in the wording of their CEs: Mandalore the Indomitable: "Mandalorian allies gain Momentum." Durge: "Non-Unique followers who end their move within 6 squares gain Momentum." 4. It does not inhibit Relay Orders, but in most cases the commander effect will be suppressed anyway. Disruptive can suppress the CE by affecting either the commander or the ally who is benefiting from the CE. If the Mouse is within 6 of the Disruptive piece, the ally often is as well. However, in the following situation, the CE would be active: C.......D.....M.....A In the above, the commander and the ally are both more than 6 squares from the Disruptive piece. The Mouse is within 6 squares of both the Disruptive piece and the ally. The ally benefits from the CE by being within 6 of the Mouse Droid. The only piece within 6 of the Disruptive piece is the Mouse, and that doesn't suppress the CE.

DarthBainCapital wrote:1. If all the doors to a room are closed, can panaka or thrawn still swap people in and out of that room? Unlimited range, but you still need to be able to count through doors for any CE that's extended. DarthBainCapital wrote:2. Can panaka or thrawn swap droids? I assume no since they don't benefit from commander effects. Nope- droids are immune to his CE. DarthBainCapital wrote:3. Does momentum work on strafe attack? Depends on how the momentum is granted. A piece with momentum and strafe would benefir from both. However, some characters like General Skywalker provide momentum when a piece stops moving. In that case, a piece like yoda could use momentum when he stops, but not during a strafe. DarthBainCapital wrote:4. Does disruptive inhibit relay orders from mouse droids? From the FAQ: Relay Orders Q: Is a character with Relay Orders affected by Disruptive? A: No. Disruptive only affects the commander or the character receiving the effect. Note that if the commander is in range of Disruptive, his commander effect is completely shut down even for a character within range of Relay Orders unaffected by Disruptive.

I thought of a fifth question:
If a wookie elite warrior attacks Jarael from two squares away, can she use both evade and parry since it's a melee attack from a non-adjacent enemy?

If you are attacked by a character with force immunity, can you use a force point to reroll parry or djem so? You aren't directly using the force to respond to the attack or ability, just to reroll a save for a non-force response to the ability.

DarthBainCapital wrote:If a character with flight is force pushed into a pit, are they defeated save 11? If a character is involuntarily moved onto a pit square, stop its movement in the nearest square adjacent to the pit and make a save of 11. On a successful save, the character remains adjacent to the pit. On a failure, it is defeated. Characters with abilities that allow them to enter pit squares (such Flight) make a save of 6 instead.
