I'm sure that this has been answered numerous times, but I just want it confirmed.
Can Mercs move freely outside their turn? Because they (typically) cannot make an attack on the turn they are moving.

This should have been addressed by WOTC when the gotal merc came out (mercenary + intuition). I know for a fact the combo works (and the point of Maul Hologram is to give mercs movement), but of course it's not mentioned in the Final FAQ, and the glossary can be interpreted both ways. I assume its lost to time in some post that Nickname addressed on the WoTC forums.
All I have to go off of is the logic that, since it can't attack from it's starting space when its not its turn, it can move freely.
Mercenary; This character can move only if it has no legal targets to attack from the space where it starts its move. (However, if it first defeats an enemy with a single attack and cannot then attack any others, it is free to move afterward.) If it moves into a position where it can attack, it does not have to end its movement there.
