The Sith shall rise again, with some help from cloud city of course.

http://www.bloomilk.com/Squads/View.aspx?ID=54453

--Four Lightning Lords--
23 Lando Calrissian, Hero of Taanab
92 Sith Lord x4
15 Lobot, Computer Liaison Officer
11 Darth Sidious Hologram
6 Mouse Droid x2
3 Ugnaught Demolitionist

(150pts. 10 activations)

So pretty much this is a modified "Mobile Grip of Doom" I like this better for the higher defense and HP on the Lords. And I now have door control. And with Lightning I can do area damage, and if necessary I can assault Vong.

I like it... Heavy shooter sqauds look like it only weakness... Mando's would be rough or cunning rebels... But looks fun

Sith Squad meet Mandalorians.

I have to say that my tournament team, and one's that are close to it. Would prove to be a problem for a team like this. However for a team that is built around a main piece like a GMLS squad this would kill. As for Vong, sorry to say this but vong suck, anything beets vong. I would rather play a ewok squad then vong. (At least with ewok your playing with style.) Thats my opinion though.

I would say your chances against Vong aren't too good with only 1 shooter. Assaulting Vong is ok, but you'll more than likely only do 20 damage after the armor saves. That leaves you based with a Vong for the next round and if it's an Ossus or JH, bye bye Sith Lord. Just my thoughts...

I like it RevRev. You have to be aggressive, but careful on your approach. It could be one the best squads you've come up with.

Hello, Goodbye.

The easiest way to deal with this would be to move and hid first round, like you would obviously do. And then use everyone except for lando and the lords, maybe use lando to shoot some droids out of the way. Then have two Lords assault or lightning a scout so that its dead, but all in one turn so it wont have been used. Then I take 160ish, maybe less in damage, which means at most, a single dead Lord. Then have the two remain lords rush the then activated scouts, either I deal damage or move too many spaces. But then for initiative your in a dilemma, waste opp to get damage off or let another scout die? It would be interesting and close to say the least, but with good planning it could be pulled off.

"Sith Lords are the undisputed masters of the dark side, ruling over worlds, commanding fleets, and plotting the overthrow of the Jedi."

So I looked up a few of the top rated squads with Ossus Guardians and JHs. I chose three of the ones that seemed most threatening and have decided to explain the easiest way to destroy them.

--A Little Bit of Everything--
45 Mara Jade, Jedi
28 Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler
27 Lobot
26 Yuuzhan Vong Ossus Guardian
10 Jagged Fel
9 General Dodonna
5 Caamasi Noble

Preferred Reinforcements:
(Lobot) 8 Wicket
(Lobot) 6 Mouse Droid x2
(Lobot) 6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

(150pts. 12 activations)

The main hunk of this squad is more in Mara Jade and Dash. Mara Jade being able to kill a Lord at the begining of a round and Dash being able to almost kill one, or at the least finishing one off at the end of the round. So my victory would need to be quick. The Ossus guardian could really give me hell, and in most situations would be either out front to suck up damage or in the middle waiting to attack when I go after his major pieces. So the idea would be to literally have all four of the lords go straight for the Ossus Guardian. Probability says even with the crab armour I would kill it, unless I missed a couple hit, which is possible, in which case, we have to hope Lando cleans up well. If not I am still okay. I would most likely end the round taking 60-80 from Dash. Then its init. 4 lords, all in one spot, maybe 3 if one died. Mara Jade. She would either twin for 60, or more likely assault up to me. Which if he kills a lord, leaving me with two, I would be able deal 60 damage onto her, or 80 (although doubling would be interesting considering I require a 11 and she has block.) But if I have three left, then I can deal 90-120 which puts her in death's range. And if done right I use up all her force. So then I take another 60-80 from Dash, that is if I don't put droids and other stuff in his way. Then depending on wether or not Mara died I take another 60 killing another lord. And then kill her back with Lando if possible, or use my lord if necesary and then mobile away so Dash cant do anything. At this point I would have the point lead, unless Gambit says different, and for the most part the game should be over, because that is a lot to have happen. And if a couple of my Lords survived then I am definitely in the point lead. So this game would be close and require that I just throw it all at them.

--Dash' Invasion--
28 Dash Rendar, Renegade Smuggler
26 Yuuzhan Vong Ossus Guardian
21 Yuuzhan Vong Shaper
40 Yuuzhan Vong Jedi Hunter x2
18 Praetorite Vong Priest
11 Human Bodyguard
6 Ugnaught Demolitionist x2

(150pts. 9 activations)

Same basic idea as the last time I dealt with Vong Just throw everything at one piece. Thus meaning I don't have many scarification's +10 running around and each round they lose a huge chunk of damage. If they also make the mistake of making the shaper within assault range before I am based with thier other guys then I need to take advantage of that and kill him, but hopefully they wont do that. Dash will obviously be in the back, so just throw my filler, Sidious/droids at him so he cant shoot at me. I don't mind losing Sidious after the first round because Assault is not a costly force power. And without accurate I don't have to fear them shooting Lando so he can stay near the lords if mobile is necessary. Bodyguard might extend the lives by a round, but that shouldn't be too much of a nuisance.

--Noms Mission--
34 Nom Anor
27 Lobot
27 Mission Vao
25 Juhani
20 Yuuzhan Vong Jedi Hunter
8 Wicket
9 Ugnaught Demolitionist x3

Preferred Reinforcements:
(Lobot) 8 Muun Tactics Broker
(Lobot) 12 Gran Raider x3

(150pts. 13 activations)

Excluding the JH I can just lightning and mobile away to avoid the self destruct damage. Hope for a run at Nom after a round or two of lightning and then hope to kill the JH last. If that doesn't work, just go straight at the JH, take the 20 damage to the lords and then mobile away for the rest of the time. This squad I would have to play test against, so to be honest I don't know exactly how to deal with it yet.

The point I was trying to show is that I can, with intelligent ideas deal with Vong. It might be interesting and scary, but I can do it!

I watched you play this on Vassal. It looks good. However I would drop one Sith Lord and put in a Sith Apprentice. Mobile grip will help clear the trash for your Sith Lords so it doesnt get in the way.
