Hey. Quick question. General Obi-Wan Kenobi's CE says that Each follower gets +4 Attack and +4 Defense as long as it has an ally within 6 squares. This CE is limited to 6 squares, but not from the commander, just from one figure to another. If I have Mas in a squad with GOWK, do my followers get the bonus if I can trace a path to another ally or am I getting too loose with the definition of Booming Voice? Booming Voice is defined as "Allies' commander effects normally limited to 6 squares have unlimited range", so I think it would work.
Yes, I know GOWK is banned in DCI, but my LGS doesn't play DCI.

No. A CE is considered to have a range when it is X from the commander.

Hey there B!  Sithborg is definitely correct. Mas extends the range of the CE from the commander, but Booming does not have anything to do with distance between other characters gaining the benefits of the CE. If that makes sense... Happy GOWKing

Mas Ameddas Booming works specifically for extending the CE from the Commander. GOWKs CE works between allies, not him. though, you can treat him as an ally for the effect, Booming voice will not work between ally to ally. Commander only. if Mas ameddas booming worked on GOWK, we would be seeing more threads on the hatred of GOWK. his CE is ridiculous enough.

There was. Didn't seem like it was transferred to the main FAQ, though. I was sure it was in the CW mini-FAQ.
