On the off chance that there are other people on here from the area (or people from the Twin Cities who don't mind a drive), I thought I should post the upcoming schedule of events. Most of these events are at Paradox Cards N Comics on Roberts St. in Fargo, ND. Except for sealed events (and right now, those are only planned for Valley Con in October), all tournaments are $5.
Aug 29 250 (casual tournament) Royal format (only R or VR)
Sept 12 150 pts. (DCI-sanctioned constructed)
Sept 26 300 pts. (casual tournament) Mixed Faction
Oct 16-18 Valley Con (details to follow)
Oct 24 (casual tournament) format TBA
Nov 7 200 pts. (DCI-sanctioned constructed)
Nov 21 100 pts. (casual tournament) 2-on-2 (random teams)
Dec 5 100 pts. (DCI-sanctioned constructed)
Dec 19 (casual tournament) format TBA
For the TBA events, I will fill in the details when we finalize them.

For the 9/12 tourney, how many people do you expect? What is Valley Con? And how many people do you expect at those tourneys?

The tourneys at the local shop typically draw anywhere from five to ten people.
This will be the first time I've run anything at Valley Con (the local gaming and sci-fi convention in Fargo-Moorhead), but I'm hoping for as many as twenty. (Actually, I'm hoping for more, just to show 'em that the game is alive and well, but if we can get 15 to 20 people, I figure we're doing okay.)
I just about have the Valley Con schedule finalized, but I'm waiting to hear back from someone before I post that schedule.
This Saturday we have a casual tourney going... Here are the details:
So we got a crazy idea to try to a "reverse-peasant" format... Only Rares or Very Rares may be in squads (normal faction restrictions apply)... 250 points...

I have a play group here in the TC metro area & a few of us may come on up for SWM at Valley Con which I Googled. Looks fun! Please post the schedule as soon as it is available.
