Are there any plans to have any regional type events before Gencon this year? I’m glad the virtual events are still going but it’s hard for me to stay excited and up to date with those, it just doesn’t feel the same. I know different areas are probably in different situations with covid but near me in the Cleveland area things are mostly opening up.

Would there be interest in an in-person event in the Cleveland area in June maybe? Would probably be a more casual event since I’m trying to get some new players interested.

We'll likely do something in Kokomo and I think Caedus might do something in Defiance OH?

I wouldn't mind gaming in Cincinnati if I'm available at the time.

Cleveland is about 5.5 hours from us in Chicago. So that's just logistically difficult, since it's likely going to require a hitel the night before. We've done Defiance in the past, as well as Kokomo, so it's certainly possible, but very hard to commit to.

just the sheer distances you'll go for SWMinis face-to-face;
I mean, sure, some folks are coming to GenCon Indiannapolis from like... Oz/ NZ etc,
though, 6hrs up the road is a bit of a hike for SWMinis. BigGrin

OzCon (a sister GenCon held concurrently) is just... lackluster compared to the real conventions,
same with SupaNova (really seedy as the years go on,
it's gotten like the early 70s again style convention TBH)

I'd love to catch up at the coffee stuff and game it up casually;
Seattle Writers Con was great to game it up with SWMinis.
SizeCon and GenCON SWMinis are the best!
SouthBySouthwest wasn't as fun, but it was still pleasantly surprising to travel half way around the world,
and have that right near the other conventions for Tech.
much better than ComiCon San Diego was just too hussler.

I'd be interested if that Luau-Con is going ahead;
that's a comfortable flight and usually nice venues
for Luau-Con or Phillippines or Thailand ones.
